CROOKSTON, Minn. -
Southwest Minnesota State dropped a heartbreaker on Saturday night as Minnesota, Crookston's Diane Taddy hit a 15-foot jumper as time expired to lift the Golden Eagles to a 65-63 victory on Saturday night in Crookston, Minn.

It was the second straight night that SMSU has lost in the final minute of the game.  On Friday night, MSU Moorhead hit the go-ahead field goal with 14 seconds left to pull out the victory.

SMSU's Abby Oakland hit three free throws with four seconds left in the game after being fouled on a game-tying three-point field goal attempt.  Following the game-tying free throw, Taddy took the inbounds pass and drove to the free throw before pulling up and connecting for the game-winning basket as time expired.
