MARSHALL, Minn. - The Southwest Minnesota State wheelchair basketball team picked up three more wins this weekend. The Mustangs defeated the Junior Timberwolves 64-42 in game one on Saturday and 69-53 in the second game. SMSU then played the Minnesota Adult Timberwolves on Sunday winning that game 52-18.
Kyle Timmerman led all players in game one against the Junior Wolves with 21 points. Timmerman was perfect behind the free-throw line while picking up five boards and two assists. Jake Williams was 8 for 18 from the floor and finished with 17 points for the Mustangs. Williams also recorded six blocks and six assists in the game.
Joe Dickson and Derick Bisnett led the Junior Timberwolves with 14 points each.
Williams had the hot-hand in the second game draining 12 buckets and 24 points for SMSU. Williams added six rebounds, six assists and seven steals.
Savoy Brown followed the lead of Williams picking up 13 points of his own. Timmerman and Robbie Wilhelm each had eight points for SMSU.

David Nelson and Wilhelm all had six points for the Mustangs. Williams once again led the way with 16 points.
To wrap-up alumni weekend the Mustangs played their alumni in an exhibition game on Sunday afternoon. The Mustangs will continue play on Dec. 4 at home against the Madonna Magic at 1 p.m. at the R/A Facility.
