GAME NOTES

OPENING TIP
The Southwest Minnesota State University (5-1, 2-0 NSIC) men's basketball team hits the road for its first Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference games of the season this weekend, beginning a four-game road trip during the next two weekends.  SMSU will face St. Cloud State University (2-4, 1-1 NSIC) on Friday, Dec. 10, at Halenbeck Hall starting at 8 p.m.  On Saturday, Dec. 11, the Mustangs will face Concordia University (4-2, 1-1 NSIC) with tip-off slated for 6 p.m. at CU's Gangelhoff Center.  Concordia will host Minnesota State, Mankato on Friday night prior to the SMSU game.
