MOORHEAD, Minn. - Minnesota State Moorhead picked up four wins by major decision and another by fall to post a 32-6 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference dual victory over Southwest Minnesota State Friday night in Moorhead.
MSUM improves to 5-9 (2-4 NSIC), while SMSU falls to 2-4 (0-4 NSIC).
Wrestling started at 157 pounds where MSUM strung together three straight wins before #C.D. Johnson# charted SMSU's first victory of the evening at 184 pounds. Johnson took an 8-2 decision from Jacob McLean.
Andrew Rodas followed with a 5-1 decision over Jon Swart at 197 pounds.
Leading 12-6, the Dragons went on to win the remaining four matches by major decision.
SMSU will wrestle at Morningside (Iowa) on Thursday.
