ST. PAUL, Minn.  - Former Southwest Minnesota State pitcher Ryan Morse (2003-05) is a member of the St. Paul Saints of the America Association. 

A 13th round draft pick of the Tampa Bay Rays in 2005, Morse spent five seasons in the Rays' organization, before signing with the Saints on Jan. 28, 2010.

Morse is a starting pitcher for St. Paul and as of June 4, is 1-0 in four starts with a 2.86 ERA in 22 innings.

Morse, a native of St. Cloud, Minn., earned All-NSIC honors three times during his three-year career and was a second team all-region honoree in 2005.  He was SMSU's second-ever MLB draft pick.
