ABERDEEN, S.D.- A goal by Kelly Fitzgerald in the second half lifted the Southwest Minnesota State soccer team to a 1-1 draw against Northern State today in Aberdeen.

SMSU moves to 1-3-1 (0-2-1 NSIC), while NSU moves to 2-2-4 (0-0-3). 

NSU's solo goal of the game came in the first half when Katie Anderson scored on an assist from Maggie Fedor at 16 minutes. 

Fitzgerald's goal was scored after 47 minutes on an assist from Tatum Borstad. 

The Mustangs are in action again Sunday when they take on Mary at 2 p.m. in Bismarck, N.D.
