OPENING TIP
The Southwest Minnesota State University (8-9, 5-8 NSIC) men's basketball team begins continues its four -game homestand this weekend with a pair of games at the R/A Facility.

On Friday, Jan. 28, SMSU, which is currently tied for eighth in the conference standings, will take on the Upper Iowa University (6-11, 5-8 NSIC) starting at 8 p.m., before concluding the weekend versus Winona State University (13-4, 9-4 NSIC) on Saturday, Jan. 22, starting at 8 p.m. for the annual “Hawaiian Night” game.

SMSU's current two-game winning streak is its longest since winning four straight games earlier this season from Nov. 20 to Dec. 4.
