BOX SCORE

MANKATO, Minn. –
Minnesota State's Jennie Noreen was dominant this afternoon finishing with a career-high 31 points as the Mavericks defeated Southwest Minnesota State 69-46 this afternoon in Mankato. SMSU's Tori Fink's 23-point 10-rebound performance was not enough as the Mustangs fall to 3-10, 2-7 NSIC. Minnesota State improves to 8-5, 5-4.

Fink's 15 points and five rebounds in the second half was good enough for her first career double-double. She was the only Mustang to hit double-digits in the game. Laura Kramer finished with six points and seven rebounds.

Fink led SMSU in the first half connecting 3 of 8 field goals for eight points. Fink also led the Mustangs on the boards grabbing five first half rebounds all on the defensive side of the floor. Kenealy couldn't get a shot to drop in the first half going scoreless on seven attempts.

Noreen was on fire for Minnesota State in the first half connecting on 5 of 6 shots leading all players with 13 points. The Mustangs trailed the Mavericks 32-21 heading into the locker room.
