ST. PAUL, Minn. -
The Concordia-St. Paul women's basketball captured a share of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference regular season title with a 73-59 victory over Southwest Minnesota State on Friday.

The win over SMSU (4-23, 2-19 NSIC) was the second of the season and the 24th of the last 26 contest dating back to the 2002-03 season.

Rebekah Rolling fronted the Mustangs attack as she scored a team-high 15 points, while Alison Nagel and Annessa Rosch contributed 14 and 13 points, respectively. The Mustangs finished shooting 23 of 55 from the floor (41.8%) but just 5 of 20 from behind the arc.

CU drew away from SMSU by hitting 9 of 18 3-pointers and finishing with an even 50 percent shooting percentage (31 of 62).

Amanda Barton finished with a game-high 17 points for the Golden Bears as she knocked down seven of her nine shots from the floor.

SMSU will conclude the regular season tomorrow night by taking on No. 21 Minnesota State.
