MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University wheelchair basketball team opens the 2015-16 season this Saturday with a pair of home games in the R/A Facility.
SMSU will face the University of Nebraska Omaha/Madonna for two games starting at 1 p.m.

Derek Klinkner begins his third season on the sideline and has 12 players on the roster with seven returning letterwinnners. The Mustangs finished 9-33 in 2014-15.
The team features a pair of seniors, including last season's team MVP
David Evjen. The roster also includes five sophomores and five freshmen.
SMSU is scheduled to host three tournaments this season, including next weekend, Oct. 23-24, when the Mustangs will face Missouri, Wisconsin-Whitewater and Illinois.
