SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The Southwest Minnesota State women's soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss in its final regular-season road game to No. 23 Augustana University on Friday afternoon.
 
Augustana's Stephanie Stevens scored the lone goal in the match in 72nd minute to down SMSU.
 
Kristy Leopold started in goal for SMSU and recorded one save, while seeing seven shots and four corner kicks in the first 45 minutes. Brienna Dehkes suffered the loss after giving up the lone goal after coming in after the break. She tallied three saves while also seeing four corner kicks and 12 Viking's shots.
 
Kendahl Fisher led the Mustangs with a pair of shots—one being on goal— while Kylie Redmond and Miranda Cadena each recorded a shot with it being on goal.
 
Southwest Minnesota State will return home for its final regular season game as it faces Wayne State on Sunday at 1 p.m.
