Box Score ST. PAUL, Minn. — The Southwest Minnesota State women's soccer team recorded a 1-0 win over Concordia-St. Paul on Saturday afternoon to remain undefeated in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play.
Emily Huddleston found the left corner of the goal after a pass from
Kara Whiting in the 13th minute to score the lone goal and her first goal of the season.
Kristy Leopold played the full game in goal and recorded her second shutout of the season after tallying five saves in her second win of the season.
The Golden Bears recorded 14 shots to the Mustangs 10 and also won the corner kick game with four kicks to SMSU's one.
Southwest Minnesota State (2-2-1, 2-0 NSIC) will head to Mankato, Minn., and face a tough Minnesota State team tomorrow at 1 p.m.
