SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The Southwest Minnesota State volleyball team swept the University of Sioux Falls Tuesday night by scores of 25-17, 25-13, 26-24.
Abbey Thissen led the Mustang offense—that finished hitting .227—with 13 kills while hitting .308.
Sarah Parker added nine kills while
Taylor Reiss,
Claire Sames and
Eisha Oden each contributed six.
Megan Larson lead the offense as she dished out 34 assists.
SMSU's defense kept USF to a .049 hitting percentage, which is the second lowest of the season for the Mustang defense. Oden lead the defense with eight blocks, while Thissen and Reiss added three.
Whitney Burmeister added 12 digs in the win.
Southwest Minnesota State will play host this weekend as it faces No. 8 Concordia-St. Paul on Friday night and Minnesota State on Saturday.
