MARSHALL, Minn. – The No. 3 ranked Southwest Minnesota State volleyball team moved back into the win column this afternoon with a 25-14, 25-16, 25-21 victory over Minnesota State at the PE Gym.

SMSU (10-3, 3-2 NSIC) finished the match hitting .274 with 37 kills on 84 attacks with 14 errors.
Sarah Parker and
Abbey Thissen each led the team with 11 kills, with Parker hitting .400 (11-3-20).
Megan Larson recorded 27 assists.

Whitney Burmeister finished with a match-high seven digs, while
Eisha Oden recorded four block assists to pace the defense.

MSU (9-4, 3-2 NSIC), which hit .213 in the match, was led by Krista Hassing with 13 kills.

Southwest Minnesota State will play at Upper Iowa next Friday, Oct. 2.
