MANKATO, Minn. – Southwest Minnesota State extended its winning streak to 10 straight with a 25-13, 25-23, 25-11 victory over Minnesota State at the Taylor Center.
 
SMSU improves to 16-3 overall, 10-1 NSIC, while MSU drops to 9-10, 3-8 NSIC.
 
Kaylee Burmeister had another strong match for SMSU, hitting .684 with 13 kills and zero errors on 19 attacks, while also racking up 12 digs. Taylor Reiss led the Mustangs with a match-high 19 kills, while Eisha Oden added 13 kills and hit .478  
 
SMSU finished the night hitting .394 with 43 digs and five blocks. MSU closed the match hitting .119 with 43 digs.
 
Southwest Minnesota State will continue road play on Tuesday night with a 7 p.m. match at the University of Sioux Falls.
