MARSHALL, Minn. – Southwest Minnesota State scored late in regulation to send the game into overtime and put together several scoring chances in the extra sessions, but couldn't muster the game-winner as SMSU and St. Cloud State played to a 1-1 double overtime tie on Saturday in women's college soccer at the Schwan Regional Event Center.

SMSU (4-8-1, 3-6-1 NSIC) had a shot go wide in the first overtime and two more shot attempts in the second overtime, but came up empty each time.
SCSU (6-4-3, 5-2-3 NSIC) opened the game's scoring in the 21
st minute on a goal by Abby McDonald off an assist from Audrey Clarno.

Jessica Craigmile made four saves in the game.
SCSU finished the game with 16 shots, including five on goal, while SMSU closed with 11 shots, including four on goal.
Southwest Minnesota State closes the weekend tomorrow hosting Minnesota Duluth (6-4-3, 4-2-3 NSIC) at 1 p.m. UMD defeated Sioux Falls 1-0 on Saturday.
