Minnesota Crookston fought hard to avoid the sweep in the third set which saw 14 tied scores and 10 lead changes and held the lead at 23-21. The Mustangs were able to edge out UMC however with the help of three kills from Sarah Parker including the match point to win the final set for SMSU 26-24.
