MARSHALL, Minn. – After more than a month off, the Southwest Minnesota State University wheelchair basketball team returns to action this Friday and Saturday with four games in Wichita, Kan.
SMSU, 11-4 overall, takes on Texas Arlington on Friday at 8 a.m., followed by a match-up versus Edinboro (Pa.) at 3 p.m., before closing the day versus Auburn at 6:30 p.m. SMSU closes the weekend on Saturday versus Alabama at 11:30 a.m.
Walter Johnson is averaging 20.7 points per game with
David Evjen averaging 19 ppg. Evjen also leads the team in both rebounding and assists.
SMSU last played on Dec. 2-3, splitting four games at the University of Missouri Tournament.
