Mustangs head north for road NSIC tests at Bemidji State and Minnesota Crookston

MARSHALL, Minn.- The Southwest Minnesota State University ­women's basketball team (1-13, 1-9 NSIC) was unable to capture its first home win last weekend and are looking to put a stop to an eight game losing streak on the road at Minnesota Crookston on Friday night at 6 p.m., and at Bemidji State this Saturday at 4 p.m.

•This weekend's games will broadcast on 105.1 FM KARL with Ryan Rohlik and Anthony Rohlik handling the play-by-play for SMSU basketball

            SERIES HISTORY (Minnesota Crookston)
•SMSU leads the all-time series 19-11
•Minnesota Crookston has won four straight dating back to the 2013 season
•SMSU is 10-5 all-time in games played in Crookston
•UMC won the only meeting last year 85-65 in Marshall

•After a slow start, SMSU's offense has been steadily improving, rasing its season scoring average in four straight games

Caleigh Rodning led Mustangs in scoring in both games last weekend including career high 21 points vs. Upper Iowa

Tom Webb is in his first season as the head coach with a 1-13 overall record thus far
