MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University wheelchair basketball team heads back to the hardwood this Friday and Saturday with four games in Columbia, Missouri, hosted by the University of Missouri.
SMSU, 4-3 overall, will have a pair of games on Friday and two more on Saturday. The Mustangs face Wisconsin-Whitewater on Friday morning at 9, before taking on Auburn at 1 p.m.
On Saturday, SMSU face Edinboro University at 12 p.m. before finishing the weekend versus Alabama at 2 p.m.
Jesus Villa is the team's leading scorer through seven games 20.1 points per game,
Ryan Kile is averaging 12 per game, while Matthew Talbot is scoring 8.9 points per game. Villa also leads the team in rebounding with 7.7 per game.
SMSU is coming off a 2-3 weekend on Nov. 17-18 at the Wisconsin-Whitewater.
