ABERDEEN, S.D. – The Southwest Minnesota State wrestling team (0-2) fell 22-13 to Northern State (5-1) on Thursday night at the Barnett Center in the second conference match up of the season.
SMSU returned to conference action for the first time since hosting St. Cloud State on Nov. 29. SMSU (0-2) fell to NSU (5-1, 3-1 NSIC) despite four Mustangs earning bout victories.
Cortez Arredondo earned the first victory of the night with a 9-1 major decision victory over NSU's Walker Carr.
