CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- The Southwest Minnesota State wheelchair basketball team moved into the fifth place game of the National Intercollegiate Wheelchair Basketball Tournament with a 70-60 victory over Edinboro (Pa.) at the State Farm Center.
SMSU (11-11) will now play Illinois at 8 p.m. on Friday for fifth place.
Walter Johnson led the Mustangs with 29 points on 13 of 18 shooting, while
Ryan Kile (16) and
Jesus Villa (15) also reached double figures in scoring.
The Mustangs shot 66 percent from the field with three 3-pointers.
