MARSHALL, Minn. - The Southwest Minnesota State cheerleading team is set to host the 2019 annual spring cheerleading tryouts will be held on Friday and Saturday, April 26-27, in the campus of Southwest Minnesota State. 

SMSU cheerleaders cheer and perform at all home football, men's basketball and women's basketball games. Mustang cheerleaders also perform community service events in the Marshall area as well as appearances at various SMSU events on campus such as ceremonies, working events, etc.

- SMSU Cheerleading Tryout Flyer
- Location: SMSU Dance Studio (SS 145)
- Session I: Friday, Apr. 26, 2018- 7-9 p.m.
- Session II: Saturday, Apr. 27, 2018- 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
- What to bring: Those trying out should wear a plain white shirt or an SMSU shirt, black shorts and tennis shoes
- What to expect at Tryouts: School song, cheers, jumps & stunting
