MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University wheelchair basketball team returns the court this Friday and Saturday with four games in Whitewater, Wis.
SMSU, 2-2 on the season, opens play on Friday with an 8 a.m. match-up versus the University of Illinois, followed by a battle with Wisconsin-Whitewater beginning at 12 p.m. UWW defeated SMSU twice in Marshall two weeks ago by scores of 67-54 and 78-45. SMSU closes the busy opening day with a 4 p.m. game versus the University of Arizona.
On Saturday, SMSU will close the two-day tournament at 8 a.m. versus the University of Alabama.
The Mustangs opened the 2021-22 season on Nov. 5-6 defeating Edinboro University twice and losing twice to Wisconsin-Whitewater.
