MANKATO, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State swimming team had three athletes compete at the Maverick Invite on Saturday night, closing its 2020-21 season.
 
Natalie Bohnert competed in the 200-yard backstroke and finished second at 2:06.35 and finished fourth in the 100-yard backstroke at 58.16.
 
Kendyl Near and Abbie Christensen both competed in the 50-yard freestyle with Near finishing seventh at 26.19 and Christensen placing eighth at 26.52.
 
Near finished seventh in the 100-yard backstroke at 1:01.51 with Christensen closing in eighth place at 1:01.89.
