MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University baseball program, along with The Hitching Post in Marshall, have partnered again for the 13th "Super Supper" to help support the SMSU baseball program.
The "Super Supper" falls on a new date this year and will be held on Monday, Feb. 7, the Monday PRIOR to the NFL Super Bowl at The Hitching Post on Highway 59 South in Marshall.
All food and beverages purchased from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 7, will be donated to the SMSU baseball program to help the team's operating budget, including the squad's trip to Arizona in March. "To Go" orders will also be accepted, but must be ordered between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.
In the past, the event has been held the day after the Super Bowl, but with the NFL adding an extra regular season game, the Super Bowl is a week later on Feb. 13, with Valentine's Day to follow on Feb. 14.
