SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Southwest Minnesota State women's swimming & diving team continued the three-day Augustana Invite on Friday inside the Midco Aquatic Center.
Olivia Sholl finished 23rd in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:07.48. That time broke the previous record of 1:08.80 in the event set by
Annika Freiburger at last season's Augustana Invite.
SMSU had four teams compete in the 200-yard freestyle relay with
MacKenzie Kallevig,
Addi Schroeder,
Natalie Bohnert and
Maija Geier placing 17th with a time of 1:39.41.
Juliana Villa,
Quincie Klein,
Heather Arlen and
Grace Busch finished 29th at 1:43.07.
Kallevig advanced to the 'C' finals and placed 28th in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:58.53.
Bohnert completed the 100-yard backstroke in a time of 58.46 to finish 22nd.
The Mustangs had a quartet of teams in the 400-yard medley relay with Geier, Sholl, Bohnert and Kallevig leading the way with a time of 4:03.37 to place 17th. Villa,
Emily Ratajczak, Arlen and Schroeder finished 24th, completed the relay in 4:11.41.
The Augustana Invite will resume for its final day of action Saturday at 9:30 a.m.
