MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University wheelchair basketball team returns to the court this Friday and Saturday with four games in Tucson, Ariz., hosted by the University of Arizona
SMSU, which is coming of a 3-0 weekend at the University of Illinois on Feb. 11-12, is 6-9 on the season.
SMSU will have a busy day on Friday with three games. The Mustangs open with the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater starting at 3 p.m. CST. SMSU defeated UWW on Feb. 11 by a 71-61 score. SMSU will then take on Arizona at 7 p.m. CST, before closing the day at 9 p.m. CST versus Eastern Washington.
SMSU will close the weekend on Saturday afternoon with a 2 p.m. CST match-up versus Arizona.
SMSU has added two home games to the schedule on March 5 taking on Nebraska-Omaha at 3:30 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. The NIWBT Championships are set for March 17-19 in Arlington, Texas.
