IRVINE, Calif. -- The Southwest Minnesota State University women's tennis team opened its three-match California trip on Wednesday losing 5-2 to Concordia University (Calif.).
Cora Delich at No. 5 singles earned a point for the Mustangs earning a 6-0, 6-1 victory, while
Faith Madikwe picked up a 6-4, 3-6, 1-0 (11-9) victory at No. 6 singles.
Concordia won two of the three doubles matches to secure the doubles point, but Delich and
Roz Oye earned a 6-3 victory at No. 3.
SMSU, 9-7 overall, returns to the court on Friday with two matches in Azusa, Calif.
