MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State baseball program has announced a change of location for this weekend's Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference three-game series versus Concordia-St. Paul that was originally scheduled for Legion Field in Marshall.
The two teams will now play at Bishop Mueller Field on the campus of Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa. The two teams with play a seven-inning contest followed by a nine-inning game on Saturday with the doubleheader starting at 12:30 p.m. The series will conclude with a single nine-inning game on Sunday starting at 12 p.m.
SMSU's scheduled doubleheader at Winona State for Wednesday, March 30, was canceled due to poor weather.
SMSU, 8-10 overall, 1-5 NSIC, will now look to have its home opener on April 6 versus Minnesota State University.
