MARYVILLE, Mo. – The Southwest Minnesota State women's tennis team returned to non-conference action on Thursday suffering a 7-0 loss to Northwest Missouri State at the Frank Grube Tennis Courts.
The Mustangs lost in straight sets in all but one singles match.
Courtenay Leonard lost a tight 5-7, 6-1, 1-0 (10-3) match at No. 2 singles.
SMSU (9-5) continues non-conference action on Friday with a 12 p.m. match at Missouri Western State.
