MINOT, N.D. – The Southwest Minnesota State University women's soccer team dropped a Friday night match-up against Minot State, 1-0.
SMSU dropped to 0-2-4 overall, 0-2-1 NSIC, while MiSU improves to 2-2-2 overall, 2-1-0 NSIC.
The Mustangs fired 14 shots, nine shots on goal, but could not find the back of the net.
The Beavers broke the tie in the 51st minute, as Chole Allan scored off a pass from Anabel Noches.
Rachel Hicks got the start in net for the Mustangs, saving four shots in the loss.
SMSU will conclude the weekend on Sunday with a match at UMary starting at 1 p.m.
