WHITEWATER, Wis. -- The Southwest Minnesota State University wheelchair basketball team returned to the court on Friday and picked up two victories at the Wisconsin-Whitewater Tournament.

SMSU, which improves to 9-1 overall, defeated the University of Illinois, 63-57 on Friday morning, before earning a 77-41 victory over Edinboro (Pa.) in the afternoon.

SMSU will have two more games on Saturday with an 8 a.m. game versus City University New York and closing with UW-Whitewater at 12 p.m.
