WHITEWATER, Wis. -- The Southwest Minnesota State University wheelchair basketball team closed play at the Wisconsin-Whitewater Tournament on Saturday splitting a pair of games and having its five-game winning streak snapped.
SMSU opened play on Saturday morning defeating The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNY) by a score of 77-54, before suffering an 86-62 loss to UW-Whitewater on Saturday afternoon. It was SMSU's second loss to UWW this season. Game stats from the weekend will be updated at a later time.
SMSU is now 10-2 overall and will return to action in January of 2024.
