MARSHALL, Minn. – The 20th annual Mustang Gold Rush Raffle, sponsored by the Mustang Booster Club, is set for this Friday, Feb. 17, inside the R/A Facility on the campus of Southwest Minnesota State University. Tickets are still remaining for the event.
 
The Gold Rush Raffle committee has announced the items up for Friday's Live Auction, along with the link for the Online Auction, is underway.
 
The Gold Rush Raffle Online Auction is open for individuals to bid on items prior to the event. Anyone, even those not attending the Gold Rush Raffle, can bid for items online at SMSUmustangs.com/GoldRushAuction. The online auction closes on Friday, Feb. 17, at 10 p.m. The online site will be updated daily with new auction items prior to Friday's event.
 
Users who have created an account on the GiveSmart platform for past University auctions, DO NOT need to create a new account for the Gold Rush Raffle.
  
The Mustang Gold Rush Raffle is a unique and fun event to help support a great cause. A total of $6,200 will be awarded throughout the evening, along with other great prizes, all while supporting SMSU student-athletes! All proceeds from this exciting event, which includes an online and live auction, go towards student-athlete scholarships at SMSU.
 
The grand prize of $2,500 is awarded to the raffle ticket holder whose name is the last remaining. A $1,000 prize is awarded to the second remaining ticket holder, while the third, fourth and fifth remaining ticket holders will each be awarded $500. A $100 prize will be awarded seven times other times during the raffle, while $500 will be awarded for the 350th ticket drawn. Individuals do not be present to win the cash prizes.
 
Individuals attending will be entertained and have the ability to win great prizes competing in various games.
