MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University women's swimming & diving team will head to West Fargo, N.D., this week for the four-day, nine-team Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Championships on Feb. 8-11.
The four-day championship, hosted by MSU Moorhead, will be held at Hulbert Aquatic Center with swimming prelims taking place each day at 10 a.m. and finals at 5:30 p.m. Diving will take place on Thursday and Saturday with prelims at 1 p.m. and finals in the evening with swimming events.
SMSU will be competing in its fourth NSIC Championship since reinstating the program in May of 2018. The Mustangs have finished eighth in each of the previous three championships, including recording a program-high 154 points at last year's championship.

Natalie Bohnert has earned All-NSIC honors five times the past three seasons. Last year, she earned All-NSIC accolades with a third-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke. She earned All-NSIC honors in both the 100-yard backstroke and 200-yard backstroke in 2020 and 2021.
Schools competing for the 2023 NSIC championship along with SMSU include defending champion Minnesota State; Augustana; Concordia-St. Paul; UMary; MSU Moorhead; Northern State; St. Cloud State and Sioux Falls.
All-conference performers shall consist of the top three place finishers in each event and the members of the top two relay teams.
