MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University wheelchair basketball concludes the regular season this Friday and Saturday inside the PE Gym hosting four schools and 10 games.
SMSU, which is 8-2 overall, will play two games on both Friday and Saturday. On Friday afternoon, the Mustangs will face Edinboro at 1:45 p.m. and Arizona at 3:30 p.m., while on Saturday, SMSU will take on Missouri at 10:45 a.m. and close out the weekend at 4 p.m. versus Illinois.
The four games this weekend is a final tune-up for SMSU before competing at the NIWBT Championships in Whitewater, Wis., on March 16-18
Emmanuel Fuentes Cervantes leads SMSU in scoring this season averaging 28 ppg, while shooting 55 percent from the field. Josh Brown is scoring in 13.1 ppg, while
Troy Beckford is scoring 12.8 ppg.
