DWU (0-5) scored the game's first run in the second inning taking advantage of an errant Dulas pick-off attempt that sailed down the first base line and allowing a runner to score from third.
SMSU trailed 1-0 in the fifth inning until Smith walloped a lead-off triple and later scored on a
Matt Seykora sac fly to tie the game at 1-1.
