MARSHALL, Minn. – Due to expected weather conditions this weekend, the Southwest Minnesota State University Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference softball doubleheaders against Minot State and UMary will be postponed one day. In addition, The Mustangs' doubleheader against Sioux Falls, originally scheduled for Mar. 28, has officially been scheduled for next week.
The doubleheader against the Marauders will now take place Sunday, Apr. 16, and the doubleheader against MiSU is now slated for Monday, Apr. 17. Both doubleheaders will begin at 12 p.m. at Mustang Field. SMSU will then play USF on Tuesday, Apr. 18, starting at 2 p.m., at the Sanford Sports Complex in Sioux Falls, S.D.
SMSU is 8-25 overall and 3-9 in NSIC action and come off a sweep over the Wayne State Wildcats.
