BISMARCK, N.D. - The SMSU women's soccer team (1-5, 1-2 NSIC) lost to the University of Mary (2-4-2, 1-2-1 NSIC) on Sunday afternoon by a final score of 1-0.
The Mustangs had three shots on goal, with
Haley Mason,
Audrey Gallagher and
Hannah Walburg each registering a shot on goal.
Kenna Conley had eight saves in the loss.
UMary took the lead in the 60th minute after a goal by Grace Freimuth.
The Mustangs will return to action on Friday, Sept. 29 when they host the Bemidji State Beavers, before hosting the Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles on Sunday, Oct. 1.
