MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University wheelchair basketball team is back in action this Friday and Saturday with hosting four games inside the R/A Facility.
SMSU, which is 10-2 on the season, opens the weekend on Friday facing the University of Missouri with game time at 5 p.m. Missouri will then take on the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at 6:30 p.m. before SMSU closes the night battling UWW at 8 p.m.
On Saturday, SMSU opens the day versus Missouri at 10 a.m. and will close the day at 1 p.m. versus UWW. Missouri and UWW will also play on Saturday with tip-off slated for 11:30 a.m.
SMSU last played on Dec. 1-2 finishing with a 3-1 record at the UWW Tournament.
SMSU and Missouri will be playing each other for the first time this season, while SMSU's two losses have come against UWW.
SMSU is scheduled to play three more regular season tournaments this season before hosting the National Intercollegiate Wheelchair Basketball Tournament inside the R/A Facility and PE Gym on March 14-16.
