MINOT STATE SERIES HISTORY
• SMSU and MISU will meet for the 14th time with the Mustangs leading 8-5 in a series that began in 2011-12.

Tom Webb is in his eighth season as head coach at SMSU with a 93-112 record, including 71-91 in NSIC play.
• Webb is 184-235 overall in his 16th season as head coach at the Division II level after compiling a record of 91-123 in eight seasons (2008-16) as head coach at Cameron University (Okla.).
• In 2022-23, SMSU advanced to the NSIC semifinals for the fourth time in program history and first time since 2003.
• The team finished with 19 victories a season ago, tying for fifth most in program history, and highest total since 2004-05.
• SMSU also recorded a top three finish in the NSIC South last season, best in the division era, while earning a top four finish in the NSIC regular season standings for the first time since 2004-05.

MUSTANG TIP-OFF TIDBITS
• In conference games only, SMSU leads the NSIC in 3-point field-goal pct. (35.1), and free throw pct. (77.4), and is currently second in field-goal pct. (43.4) and scoring offense (73.4), and is fifth in scoring margin (6.4).
• SMSU made a season-low 16 field goals and was held to 33 percent shooting in suffering a 61-51 loss to St. Cloud State on Friday night inside Halenbeck Hall.

Sam Wall led the Mustangs with 17 points on 6 of 15 shooting with four 3-pointers.
Bri Stoltzman was the only other SMSU player to reach double figures in scoring with 10 points.
• The Mustangs made 16 of 48 field goals with nine 3-pointers on 27 attempts, while making 10 of 16 from the foul line. The Huskies, which held a 39-26 rebound advantage, closed the game shooting 38 percent (17 of 45), but made 22 of 25 free throws. Ashley Sawicki led SCSU with a game-high 20 points.
• SMSU got a crucial 78-65 win over the Bemidji State University Beavers on Saturday afternoon inside the BSU Gymnasium.

Bri Stoltzman led SMSU with 20 points on 7 of 8 shooting, including 3 of 3 from deep while pulling down eight rebounds, dishing three assists and snatching four steals.
Madison Gehloff followed with 14 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and four steals.

• SMSU closed the game shooting 47 percent (28 of 60) from the field including 41 percent from 3-point land. Bemidji State shot 44 percent (24 of 54) from the field, including 8 of 18 from deep. The Beavers were led by Alyssa Hill with 13 points, three rebounds, and a steal.

Bri Stoltzman recorded a career-high 36 points on 13 of 23 shooting in a loss to Northwest Missouri State on Nov. 10. She recorded her second 30-point game of her career with 31 points on 9 of 18 shooting in the win over No. 19 Minnesota Duluth on Dec. 9.
