BURNSVILLE, Minn. - The 2024 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Baseball Tournament bracket is set with the top eight teams in the final regular season standings participating in the double-elimination tournament starting on Wednesday in Bismarck and Mandan, N.D. Games will take place at Municipal Ballpark at Dakota Community Bank & Trust Field in Bismarck, N.D., and Veterans Memorial Ballpark at BNC Field in Mandan, N.D., with the University of Mary serving as the host school.

Southwest Minnesota State (26-22), making its second straight appearance in the tournament, earned the No. 6 seed and will take on No. 3 seed Minnesota Crookston (34-14) on Wednesday in Bismarck with first pitch at 6 p.m. UMC defeated SMSU twice in three games during the regular season in Crookston on April 13-14, with UMC winning by scores of 8-0 and 18-11, while SMSU won 12-2.

All SMSU games during the tournament can be heard on 107.5 FM The Fan or at MarshallRadio.net with SMSU Assistant AD for Communications, Kelly Loft, providing play-by-play. Fans can watch via pay-per-view on the NSIC Network.

SMSU has won four NSIC tournament championships (1996, 1997, 1999, 2002) in team history and has finished as tournament runner-up four times (1998, 2000, 2005, 2010).
