Marshall, Minn. - The Southwest Minnesota State University women's soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss to Minot State on Sunday afternoon.
The Mustangs drop to 0-6-1, 0-2-1 NSIC and the Beavers improve to 3-2-2, securing their first win in conference play, now sitting at 1-2-1.
SMSU recorded eight shots with six being on net.
Selena Prolic led the Mustang offense with two shots on goal.

Haley Mason, and
Jada Backes all secured one shot on goal.
In the loss,
Rachel Hicks faced nine shots on goal while recording eight saves in net for the Mustangs.
Minot State posted 18 shots with nine being on net. Leading the Beaver offense was Anna Miotto, tallying eight shots with two being on target and recording the lone goal of the match. Manuela Pacheco also supported the Beaver offense by recording three shots on goal.
Siriana Gudino recorded six saves for Minot State en route to earning a shutout.
The Mustangs hit the road next weekend taking on Minnesota Crookston on Friday, Oct. 4 at 3 p.m.
