MANKATO, Minn. - The Southwest Minnesota State University women's soccer team suffered a 3-0 loss to West Florida at The Pitch in Mankato, Minn. on Friday.
SMSU drops to 0-1 to start the season while UWF improves to 1-0.
The Mustangs had three shots on the day with two coming from
Dare Kroeten, including one shot on goal.
Selena Prolic also had one shot on goal for SMSU.
In the loss,
Rachel Hicks faced 16 shots on goal while stopping 13 shots while allowing three goals.
The Argonauts scored two goals in the first half and netted the last goal in the second half.
SMSU continues non-conference play this Sunday, Sept. 8, facing off with Emporia State (Kan.) at 11 a.m., in Mankato, Minn.
