Aeron Stevens were both named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team announced on Tuesday.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District® basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 15.

Omot, a senior from Mankato, Minn., earns CSC Academic All-District honors for the third straight season. He led SMSU with 51 3-pointers made and ranked third on the team averaging 12.6 points per game. Omot shot 44 percent (110 of 250) from the field, while making 51 of 144 3-point attempts (35 percent). He scored in double figures 15 times, with six 20-point games, including a season-high 27 points on 9 of 17 shooting with five 3-pointers in win at UMary.

Stevens, a sophomore from Plainview, Minn., earns CSC Academic All-District accolades for the first time. He ranked second on the team averaging 13.9 points per game and tied for the team lead with 5.9 rebounds per game. He shot 46 percent (140 of 302) from the field, 76 percent (92 of 121) from the free throw line and connected on 31 3-pointers.Â

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
