MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University women's basketball team was tabbed No. 15 in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Postseason Top 25 poll released on Monday.
SMSU is one of two NSIC teams ranked in the WBCA poll. Concordia-St. Paul is ranked No. 13.
SMSU set a program record of 28 wins this season and advanced to the NCAA tournament for the third time in program history, ultimately falling to No. 1 seed and tournament host Pittsburg State (Kan.) in the NCAA Central Region Championship game.
The Mustangs finished the 2024-25 season with a 28-5 overall record.
