MARSHALL, Minn. - Southwest Minnesota State University women's swimming & diving student-athletes Shannon Bailey, Quincie Klein, Carla Nevi and Maddy Storm have been named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team announced on Tuesday.
 
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® swimming & diving teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
 
Bailey, a sophomore accounting major from Cheyenne, Wyo., earns CSC Academic All-District honors for the first time in her career.
 
Klein, a senior from Woodbury, Minn., earns CSC accolades for the second straight season and is a four-year letter winner and three-time Academic All-NSIC honoree. She is a history major with a minor in philosophy.
 
Nevi, from Rome, Italy, is a psychology major and is a two-year letter winner. It's the first year she has earned CSC Academic All-District honors.
 
Storm earns CSC Academic All-District honors for the first time in her career. She is a secondary math education from Watertown, S.D.
 
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
 
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District honors, nominees must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA, complete one full calendar year at their current institution and be at least a sophomore both academically and athletically. Nominees must compete in five competitions or finish top-eight at a conference meet. A total of four student-athletes can be selected from each school.
