MARSHALL, Minn. -- The Southwest Minnesota State wheelchair basketball team split its final two games of the regular season today inside the PE Gym defeating the University of Missouri, 62-41, before suffering a tough 67-64 loss to the University of Arizona. SMSU trailed much of the second half versus Arizona, but had a chance to the game with a 3-pointer in the closing seconds.Â
SMSU ends the regular season with an 11-9 record and will now await its seed for the upcoming NIWBT Championships in Tucson, Ariz., starting on April 1.Â
