MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University fall season is here and with that the SMSU Athletics Department has announced promotions and themes for the upcoming fall sports home season.
 
SMSU Athletics would also like to remind fans single-game and season ticket packages are available for both the fall and winter seasons are available for purchase at SMSUmustangs.com/tickets.
 
The first SMSU fall sports home event will be Thursday, Aug. 27, with Mustang soccer taking on Ferris State at 1 p.m., while the Mustang football team will play Valley City State at 7 p.m.
 
SMSU Athletics along with the Marshall Area Chamber will host a Fall Sports Kickoff social, free and open to the public, on Tuesday, Aug. 25, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the suite level at The Schwan Regional Event Center.
